Great photos from both BB and Rcer. If I had to vote for a favourite, it'd be the XK120 Jag. Absolutely gorgeous.

Please post photos if you have any. I'm suffering with a strained back at the moment and have been advised by Mrs BB to rest.
Send me your email in a PM. I'll send you the 18 pics I took. You can shrink and post them here.

Re: Where can I buy a sewing machine?

I think most of the Singer shop machines are 2nd hand (reconditioned) machines. When we went in there, the guy running the place was very helpful (in a useful way - not like the brain dead staff in Home Pro). Many of the machines were quite large, heavy-duty machines, and not what we were looking f...

With things like Union Pay from BKK bank that is not accepted in 90% of retailers, good luck.

Re: A pretty realistic article about Thailand retirement cost

My current assumptions are: Housing: 15-25K baht Medical: No idea but I will look back at my spending this year and use that as a starting point. I also plan on bringing a dog so I will have to figure out those costs as well. Thanks in advance. Change rent to 25k and up. No condo if you want your d...

My granddaughter received motorcycle training at school, and she rides very well. However, she won't wear a helmet :banghead: nor does she have time to get a licence :? .
Public or private school? They teach rules and how to avoid accidents?

Re: Thailand tops global road death ranking

Until Thailand institutes mandatory training in the public schools, it will not get better.

Even then, it will take 10 years to see return on investment.

There are no quick fixes.
