My granddaughter received motorcycle training at school, and she rides very well. However, she won't wear a helmet :banghead: nor does she have time to get a licence :? .
Public or private school? They teach rules and how to avoid accidents?

Re: Thailand tops global road death ranking

Until Thailand institutes mandatory training in the public schools, it will not get better.

Even then, it will take 10 years to see return on investment.

There are no quick fixes.

you never see anyone open their bag and pull out a stack of home made sandwiches in an airport lounge..
Can you take them past security? I know you can't bring drinks.

Re: Arrival to carousel time at BKK airport?

Why not just plan to take the later bus? I never schedule anything on-time, except for my arrival to the airport for the first flight, when I travel.

Depends on the chef, I've had it where it was sweet and milky. Also had it quite oily and spicy.

I prefer the first.

A bit concerned about you, migrant. A guy from Michigan eating lamb? I cannot post the usual comments made by your countryman about lamb.
Lamb is my favorite. So, there's at least 2 Yanks with good taste. Lol

Re: The best pharmacy in Hua Hin?

I like the small pharmacies with an actual phamacist working there.

If you're near Makro, there is one in the row of shops.

Khao Tao, south of Hua Hin has a very good one.

Just go in and explain your symptoms, they will fix you up.

I dont know where you are moving from but I would say the exchange rates are not favourable at the moment if you have to transfer money from the EU or UK in order to buy.
Was just looking at those. Definitely not good for US either.

It's straightforward. If he didn't buy but spent 25,000 Baht per month renting after 5 years he has spent 1,500,000 on rent.
Yes, I knew that, but still no return on investment until the house sells at a profit above cost to maintain.
