Re: Desperately seeking a company to move furniture from Hua

I don't have any kind of packaging material.

I need some box / bubble wrap to cover the TV in fully, as well as the desk which is largely made of glass.

Are there no companies that specialise in this?

Budget is not an issue.

Desperately seeking a company to move furniture from Hua Hin

...to Cha-am. The drive is no more than 15 kilometres. I have a few things that I would like to be delivered carefully. One is a 60" TV. Others include a few office chairs, a desk, and so on. I have Googled this like crazy - and even found some threads here discussing it - but all threads are o...

Re: Experiences of living in Bangkok

I have been in Thailand more than two years. I planned to come here with the idea of living in Bangkok but that just never happened. I've moved around everywhere and BKK is just not for me. Why? I can't keep myself from going out. Maybe that's an issue of personal will-power but there really is just...

What's the issue exactly?

I have installed it many times over the years, though it has been a while.

Starting a Business to Obtain a Work Permit?

With all of the hassle around visa's I have the desire to get a work permit. I'm more than happy to pay taxes in Thailand as I feel it is right if I am working. With that in mind, I of course need to set up a Thai company. I emailed a lot of legal companies a while ago when I wanted to do this in Ba...

Re: Urgent - Best Thai resturants

Some great recommendations here.

Can someone enlighten me on the Putaracsa recommendation? I've actually stayed there before but assumed all food was for hotel guests only. Also it's two buildings, so we're talking about the one closest to the beach?

Very happy wtih the one I purchased at Home Pro even though you've ruled that out.

No faux leather arms. Maybe faux wood but feels pretty good.

Re: Driving from airport (Swampi) to Hua Hin

Believe me, no matter how you do it driving from the airport to Hua Hin is easy. Driving from Hua Hin to the airport is another matter entirely. I've never had a problem driving home, but I've gotten lost every damned time even using GPS trying to drive to the airport from Hua Hin. Not totally sure...

Re: Hua Hin Video thread

Wow, great shots.

How do the cameras work? Are they just attached to a drone? Do you have to use stabilization after (seems way too smooth).

Appreciate any comments

Re: Pool Billiards in Hua Hin

I know I'm bumping an old thread but just wanted to say this place is really for people playing snooker.

Just went to check it out today. Wondering if there are any places with lots of pool tables?

Maybe a business idea since pools seems to be huge here.

Re: Reliable garage I can trust with a nice car?

Thanks for all of the advice here.

Actually just waiting on BMW to verify some of my documents (it's an imported car) and then I'll get it sorted :)

Thanks for the reply. I'll check that out.

I know you said to avoid the BMW garage but I'm surprised to hear that there actually is one?

Reliable garage I can trust with a nice car?

Hi all, New here and appreciate the awesome content and vast information you have here on my new home. As the title suggests, I'm looking for a reliable garage that can check out some electrics on my car. I have a BMW and my parking sensors are not working. As there is no BMW in Hua Hin I wanted a g...
