Anyone done a visa run to Mukdahan with the YellowBus?! The time table says it arrives at 09:35, and, I believe, in Savannakhet, the visa can only be applied for till 11.00. Is it really possible/impossible to apply for a visa the same morning, or will I have to wait for the following day?! Thanks!...

Best way to find some just take a bike and ride on Soi 86-94. U'll see a lot of guest houses\rooms for rent there. Look around and u'll find find something that u like. Dont look near the beach, prices there would be much higher and u just waste ur time.

Agree on Backyard, often eat there. Big variety of quality food. Dont expect of something special or fancy, but all food is fresh and tasty. Also really enjoyed of there salad bar, its make all dinner much more healthy.

Anybody being there? Drive near sometimes, and saw a lot of girls in front of bar. Place looks nice, but before go inside would like to know what i can get there Im not planning sing there, and if they dont speak English it could be waste of time.
