Another new model is just being released by BYD in China which is interesting me:

It's rumoured to be coming to Thailand soon as the Atto 2, positioned between the Dolphin and the Atto 3.

Re: Which Hua Hin Area Attraction Is Your Number 1

I must admit that I only get Thai visitors from my partners extended family who sometimes drive down from Bangkok but I find that the drive down the coast to Dolphin Bay and a seafood dinner goes down very well.

No, not yet, it rained for about twenty minutes late in the morning and that was it so far.

I was in the Fleet Air Arm but if aircraft returned with any kind of hung ordinance, it was pointed off the side of the ship until made safe.

Re: Campers, Camping and/or a Van?

^Yes, many years ago I spent some time camping in Ibiza and it was hard to stay in the tent after about 07:30 because it was so hot. If I'd had a late night, I used to have to go and sleep under a tree for a couple more hours.

Re: Campers, Camping and/or a Van?

To be honest, if you're using a pickup, I reckon you could carry enough stuff to make a tented camp pretty comfortable. You could have a double burner stove, camp beds a portable toilet and a big enough tent to have standing room. I suppose the main disadvantage is the time to set everything up if y...

Re: Hua Hin Restaurant News

For anyone else out in the Hin Lek Fai area, it looks like we're going to get a small food court.
This is at the corner of Soi Mon Mai and the 3218 in the roofed area behind the Family Mart/Tops supermarket.
It's not open yet but looks like it could be soon.

Re: A bit of nostalgia (Motor Show 1968)

For anyone into cars of that era, I see there is a Japanese classic parked outside a business near the new immigration office.
I only saw it on passing but I think it's an early 70's Celica GT.
