Re: Baggage at airports: Is that your bag sir?

I've got an 15 yr. old, cheap black carry-on from Walmart. I painted a big silver X on the front and have never had any problem identifying it or anyone taking it. Even thieves wouldn't want that bag. Luxury luggage is an advertisement for theft.

The 3 wise men from the east may have been the 3 Wiseman brothers from eastern Europe.

Re: RE: Re: Hua Hin is starting to look a lot like Christmas

The commercialization of xmas began a long, long time ago, when the first person bought the first xmas present. Was that gold, frankincense or myrrh? Frankincense and myrhh could be made at home and the gold may have been gift, purchased earlier for some other reason. "One never knows, do one?" :ro...

Let's also have no eating in national parks and that would eliminate rubbish. No walking would protect the flora, Let's close all national parks and preserve the land. Ecology unlimited!

Re: Driver's licence health rules to become stricter

Thailand, where everything simple and easy becomes complicated and difficult and everyone goes around in circles. That's one way of avoiding leaving the 19th. century.

Re: Record Shop & Cafe

Your 30 yr. old vinyl recordings will sound like crap compared to a 30 yr. old cd. Well my hearing isn't good enough to challenge you on that, but that are an awful lot of folk out there who would! Not on the technical data, but simply on what provides the more authentic or better sound. Better is ...

Re: Record Shop & Cafe

I grew up listening to vinyl records with all there clicks, pops, scratches and, despite publicity, low fidelity. If you don't have a high fidelity system and I'm not talking about stereo but a high end system, you won't hear but a small percentage of the music that's recorded. The first time I hear...

Re: Record Shop & Cafe

It's on the north side, near the beach, one step down into the café. The records, when I went in were used copies of 60's and 70's pop and rock. The art work wasn't to my taste and I didn't try the beer. That was about 2 months ago.

Re: Study finds high pesticide levels in local food

I don't want to live a long, sick life. “Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!” Hunter ...

Re: Study finds high pesticide levels in local food

Living longer and getting sicker: heart disease, liver ailments, kidney disease, ling disease, brain disease, etc. are all on the increase and have been traced to chemicals in the food. You can soak fruits and vegetables for 15 min. in water and vinegar, that will remove pesticides from the surface ...
