Re: Back in Hua Hin after 3 years, what restaurants are new
Hi Will be back in Hua Hin shortly after 3 Years away. Have been trying other areas in Thailand (Pattaya, Koh Samui) but Hua Hin seems to be a good fit. What new restaurants have opened? Les Make a search. Plenty of info here. Do you actually specialise in being, not only vacuous, but sanctimonius ...

Re: Indian Restaurants
We make it ridiculously cheap and easy (16 baht a day) for local venues to promote their businesses here and post photos and menus. Those that take up our offer are taken care of by us which is why we do not allow the all the others to post menus, if you want to see what's on the menu go there - pr...

Can someone explain what it is with ex saints players and Stoke! They just want to be us! other quality players that went to you guys Rory Delap Andrew Davies Rick Fuller Danny Higginbotham Vincent Pericard James Beattie Kendo. I don't think we wanted to be you when we signed those guys. You were u...

Re: The loan system in football
Swansea had 3 players trying to shut him [Moses] down yesterday. Apparently, they weren't trying to shut him down, but stop him falling over... It's very un-Stoke like that and there have been some groans from many Stokies on our forum, The Oatcake. We don't like cheats and we don't tolerate...

Re: The loan system in football
We've (Stoke) got Moses (the footballer) from Chelski on a season long loan too.
Been our best player so far this season too. Swansea had 3 players trying to shut him down yesterday.

Re: Vis unita fortior. Stoke City FC.
IMO, Stoke is an OK club. I've always liked Crouch and it amazes me that with the long legs he has, he's stayed healthy and relatively injury free from what I recall. Lawrenson predicted Stoke to win this week so there are believers out there. You never know for this week. Southampton could be full...

Fantastic shot. Here's the same bloke sitting on top of the CC bell-mouths... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJDkZYhJR1E This is perhaps the best footage, shot at Oulton Park, of perhaps the fastest and most talented open wheel racer of all time. The legendary Jim Clarke in the technological masterp...

Re: Vis unita fortior. Stoke City FC.
Yes, I had noticed that Kendo. Not the best timing for us, or indeed anyone to pay a visit to St. Mary's. However, we do seem to be a far better proposition on the road these days...Not many sides go to Maine Road and come away with three points . I think it could be a superb game and I really fancy...

Sorry admin, not sure if this is the right board for this thread - please move if not. OK expats, I have a question for youse. I'm sick and tired of watching Stoke games on my own, as most of my lightweight bindipping scouse or pretentious poncey manc mates are either too bevvied or simply too aloof...

It's not short-sightedness Zero, them's the rules and understood and respected as a consequence. I get it and I'm sure others also do. Anyone with half a brain will have the nounce to do as you did. Googles your friend. Yes, I had to leave the site. And then I went off an started looking at the foo...

Re: Indian Restaurants
What a load of BS. Of course you would go out of your way to promote your competitors eh? IT PAYS TO ADVERTISE. By word of mouth is fine but it's by WORD OF MOUTH, not by using a popular forum! That is one way of looking at it, but if you think about it...the site itself is losing your presence as ...

Re: Thai Yellow Curry
I'm probably showing my ignorance here but I've always thought it was the high ratio of turmeric in the base paste that distinguishes a yellow curry from others, giving it that particular flavour as well as colour. Yes, fresh turmeric is a totally different animal than the red sawdust in those awfu...

Indian Curry. Mythical New Restaurant...
Was speaking to a chap last night who regards himself as a bit of a curry aficionado. I mentioned both S&S and the place at the top of Soi 80 as being the one I use and he was familiar with both, but reckoned that there is a place on Soi 88 (over the railway, sharp right, then left at the bend a...
