Re: The Energy Cha-am

Out of curiosity we went to view The Energy about 6 months ago, we were told that the development was over 90% sold and the only units left were in the as yet unfinished buildings close to Phetkasem Road. We were shown around the development and were shown a 2 bed unit, it was thoughtfully designed ...

Re: TRIGGER FINGER and TENDONITIS

Just to update, I tried to get seen by a couple of clinics in Hua Hin over the weekend, but the clinics were either closed or the Doc not present. Now I am in Bangkok for a week and turned up at the new Sukhumvit hospital at Ekkamai this morning, I was seen within 30 minutes by a doctor in their Ort...

Re: TRIGGER FINGER and TENDONITIS

Dr. Nut has done three "surgeries" for trigger finger on my hands. He does it quickly and painlessly by creating a hook out of one needle and pulling the tendon back where it belongs. I've had no recurrence and he only charges me B500. Ive been reading up on this procedure, its called percutaneous ...

TRIGGER FINGER and TENDONITIS

I have developed "trigger finger", an annoying and uncomfortable condition where the tendons that move the affected finger get stuck in the fibrous sheath that covers them at a certain point, moving the finger is painful as the tendon tries to free itself from its constriction. I have had this befor...

Re: Tough action against Hua Hin beach encroachers

It should not be beyond the capabilities of the town council to build a traffic free walkway on the seafront between the pier and the Chinese Temple. It would provide a new beach area and improve the area no end. The restaurants are illegal structures, and if they are condoned, then you might as wel...

Re: Tough action against Hua Hin beach encroachers

We would like to ask for sympathy. Cry me a river and pass the kleenex. What Hua Hin needs is a beachfront promenade, like every other decent seaside resort in the world. What it doesnt need is illegally built restaurants serving up unbelievably overpriced and frankly second rate seafood to naive t...

Re: So... I'm Moving Back to England

I simply can't handle... * being an alien. * the fact that I could be kicked out of the country at the whim of an ignorant xenophobic. * working for 'precious' people who can't handle criticism. * the dirt, rubbish and pollution. * the increasing level of street dogs once again in Hua Hin. * blah b...

Re:

I like Thailand. They have draconian laws that are not followed so much. Since I got my Thai drivers license I just give hotels that unless they really push for passport. I drove around without a license plate for six weeks. Right through check points. No problem. Speed past police stations and act...

Re: Oh my Gosh

Dump her, and move on. There are plenty of good ones out there.
She doesnt sound like the sort of girl that can be dumped easily, it would mean a serious loss of face for her.

I fear for your safety.

You better hope she doesnt have any "brothers" or "cousins" who know your address.

Re: All about "Dentist in Hua Hin" Useful information.

Expensive and heavy handed. I have just had some basic work done on my teeth ( scale and polish and 3 small fillings on the outside of the teeth by the gumline that did not need either local anaesthetic or drilling) I went to a dental practice called "Rawee Dental Clinic" on Soi 70, just past KK Kia...

Re: Hua Hin Restaurant News

I dont know if this place has been mentioned before, but just North of Hua Hin government hospital there is a new roadside eatery that sets up in the evening. It is brightly lit and with purple umbrellas and matching tables and chairs is very noticeable as you drive past. It is called Uncle Moustach...
