Jack Sprat--- Surely you are not seriously suggesting that the Thai Military could defend the country-- The report of the invasion would finish with the words that all traffic fatality reports end with --the driver fled the scene.

This is also one of the reasons that Thai people will not take a posting out of BKK, they know that if they do their children;s future will be in peril. I have a friend, expat, retired to HH, but moved to BKK which he dislikes for the sake of his 2 thai step-children. Another Thai lady Dr enjoyed HH...

there is a big difference between an area that is an eating and drinking area and one that is just a drinking area with a few food-carts.

Love that Soi, very quiet, feels very safe, good parking, 5 walk to the beach, 5 min walk to MV, nice guest-friendly hotels.

But few if any of the deaths are people from military, political or wealthy families, so whats the problem?

I am amazed at te figure that 53% of riders wear helmets, I would have guessed about 30%. It is MUCH higher in BKK of course.

Tomorrow, Monday is VICTORIA DAY in Canada. The ONLY country to celebrate the Old Queen's Birthday (Actually on the 24th) Its a nice holiday just as spring is arriving in Canada and is one thing to remind us that Canada is NOT American.

drive north past the palace under the arch. next U turn turn and come back towards town. The office is a couple of hundred m on the left. Excellent Dr good english

i guess they feel it insults their holy place, i dont think that parisseans would like restaurants up against Notre Dame or British people like them up against Westminster Abbey or other churches..

They will go for sure, actually they are almost all on life-support since the 88 night mkt got going. this has been discussed on the forum in the context of the railway improving its tracks

most people get at least time and a half for working after midnight, so if 300b is a good 3pm fare then 400-500 at 3am sounds reasonable.
