Your offence is that you are a farang, are here in Thailand and you are driving or riding on Thai roads.

I didn't realize that Santa was Thai, not wearing a helmet gives him away.

Re: Caption Competition

I am so pleased that my Caption was judged to be the most amusing.
As for the next picture, I have searched the FAQ but cannot find any instruction on how to attach a picture to a post, something that I have never done. I understand that I have to seek approval to do this.

Have you guys tried a French Press. It is so easy to make real coffee. The capsule machines are another good but more expensive alternative.

Re: Where did you meet your girlfriend or wife?

My wife, now ex-wife in an elevator.
A long time Thai GF (not live-in) found a daddy with more sugar than me and decided to give me the heave-ho. She brought a friend along and suggested her as a replacement and I accepted the peace offering.

Re: Men and their mistresses

I never suggested that ALL women in their 50s have lost interest just talking about the ones who have and yes there ARE some out there who are glad to be free of the hassle and the guilt but they don't go around talking about it..

Re: Knee Replacement

In general the quoted prices at BKK hospital are NOT much of a guide to what you will be billed.

Re: Thai travelling to Thailand on UK passport

good point. The airlines insist that not only is the PP still valid but that you have 6 months left before it expires. One time I was in Cambodia and no one would sell me a ticket to BKK, as my pp had only 4 months to go. I had to come by bus. I was ready to offer baht at the border but got thru wit...

Re: Baggage at airports: Is that your bag sir?

I too have done it, not from carrousel but took the wrong one from the overhead rack. I realised before I got to the gate and the agent took it off me and i went back for correct one. I have now painted with acrylic paint a sign on both sides

I always smile when in the mall I hear them singing about rides in a --One horse open sleigh. In all my years in Thai I have never seen a OHOS.

Re: Arrival to carousel time at BKK airport?

How long is a piece of string. At the same time of day, it can take 5 mins or 2 hours to get through immigration. I go through the 'elderly' line on the right as you go through and there it is 10-30 mins. Similar story at carousal anything from bags being there after you leave immigration to an hour...
