Re: Setting a property sales price

The ability to own a piece of land means a great deal. If you are only leasing the land and do not own it then why not just buy new? Had this land been leased at the end of the lease they just do not renew AND that 80 million offer is gone! When you own the land you have a little more power. Luckil...

Re: Setting a property sales price

QUOTE: I also left a Brokerage that charged 5% for a Brokerage that charged 3.75% because I didn't think people needed to pay 5% to get their home sold and could get the same service for less. Things are very different here with the main reason being you do not own the land. If you owned the land t...

Re: Setting a property sales price

To answer the OP's question certainly do not ask a 'so called property agent' in Hua Hin. To my knowledge there is only one with Uk approved credentials as a qualified surveyor and or valuer. The rest are salesmen looking for a quick 5% commission, they are unqualified and hope ignorant buyers will ...

Yet another OVER PRICED so called International School - just a business really. Nobody will achieve OXBRIDGE - probably because the teachers never reached that standard themselves.

Re: Gold Mine closure hints at strange new law application

When a company claims it is was going to invest over a Billion $'s in new investment and the country would have received several billion $'s of revenue it exceeds normal comprehension IMO - words flow freely in such circumstances. Somebody is being taken for a ride and Kingsgate will know this well ...

Re: The best Pork Pie in Hua Hin

Well, curiosity got the better of me. I decided I would try one of these new(ish) Pork Pies today. Checked their website to confirm location and opening time. As before, we found many things including a Swedish Restaurant, a coffee shop, Hua Hin Butler, but was there a sign for a pie shop? That'll ...

Re: Potato Supplies

I have not come across a DRY potato this year from either Makro or a Market. All potatoes are wet and do not roast or bake in the oven at all well. A dry flowery potato is crisp on the outside and flowery inside. If any of you recommending these wet potatoes can achieve the above then please - certa...

But were they wet or dry - wet are totally useless for baking and roasting unless you prefer a soft oustide and wet inside potato ?

Re: Potato Supplies

Back to the potato 'crisis' here it seems that 95+% are wet potatotoes whereas the flowery variety are rarely obtainable - perhaps this is why the Irish are so few in numbers here?

Re: The best Pork Pie in Hua Hin

I went to the business "Pork Pies Hua Hin by Anna" and duly purchased a large family size pork pie yesterday. It has now been demolished by everybody. Absolutely THE BEST I have had in Hua HIn by miles. The crust both out and inside is perfect with the jelly just as I used to have in UK y...

Re: Buying a house in Hua Hin

The other problem about buying a house in Hua Hin are the 'so called' Estate Agents - ask them if they have any qualifications ie surveyor, valuer etc etc - their interest is the large 5% fee. Sorry if any have appropriate qualifications, please say.

Re: The Rugby Thread

England played at great pace which gave then quick ball, and Wales did not seeem to expect this and made error afrer error because of it. Their score could have been much greater with a little more luck in the first 20 mins. They outplayed Wales for 70 mins or until their prop was given a yellow car...

Re: Big Dog Problem Down 114

Of course this problem is not one just in Thailand. I have lived in many ( third world) countries and such dogs roam about over Africa and the Middle East. I walk past such dogs every day and I carry a hardwood stick about I mtre long and have no trouble at all, and indeed like all dogs they would l...
