soi 94 now open, looks like a pipe was laid in a trench across the road. Sadly not a renovation.

I have used Bo at Travel Deals Hua Hin. She has a shop in Soi Salawat which is the street next to and parallel with Soi 80.
Turn at Whitehouse Bar(closed) and she is next to the noodle factory. Good english, highly recommended.

Re: Where to get Mexican food in Hua Hin ?
Yes behind Sabai Bar which is the first bar you come to when entering from the big car park with the boxing hall. Had some quesadillas there on a couple of occasions. Not up on South American food so cannot compare quality. Cheaper than the Sheraton though.

Re: Wanted: House Cleaner
My strategy to find a cleaner was to look at a friendly business near the closest hotel, ask if they knew the hotel cleaners and hire one of them for a couple of hours on her day off. You get a trained professional cleaner who should be trustworthy. Mine even folds the toilet paper into a triangle.

Re: Driving to Phuket
I drove down and back earlier this month. Was waved through two checkpoints including one after the bridge. Only issue I had was with the hotel which demanded to see my Thailand Pass.

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
"I registered at HHH this morning and have been given an appointment for the 8th July - they said it would be the Astra Zeneca vaccine" I see in Australia there is a 12 week delay between first and second Astra Veneca shots. Dannie Boy, do you have a date for the second shot? I have a flig...

Re: Soi 88 Railway Crossing Closure
Came through 30 minutes ago. Half of the crossing is closed. Cars and bikes passing through. Be patient. Unsure if you can turn right after crossing from east to west. May have to go straight along soi 88 and take next turn right down the hardware street.

I renewed my Australian passport then left the country from Bangkok airport. Presented both passports at immigration and was walked to a side desk where they transferred. Visa and re entry stamps to new passport. No letter no payment.

Re: Tom's travels - Hua Hin after dark
I have lived around the corner from Na Na's bar( previously Dicks Office, Miss You and Lailas) for seven years and have never seen them serve food. Monas bar a short way closer to Petchkasem on the other side of the street does "pie based" meals. Having said that most of the bars will get ...

Can't help with a GPS. I am a phone less pedestrian. If you are in the main street Petchkasem by the Clock Tower, walk North for a few minutes on the Left side. Just before the night market street is the pharmacy. I chose it because the products have the prices marked.

Re: Prostate Medicine
I was prescribed Xatral XL at Sao Paolo hospital. I am led to understand that it works on the muscles around the prostate rather than the prostate gland itself. I had recurrent bladder infections and the diagnosis was an enlarged prostate blocking the complete emptying of the bladder. Since taking t...
