Re: Best Hospital in HH?

Petcharat, really? I'm off out to visit my friend who is over here on holiday. He used to live here. Abridged version... About 4 years ago he made an appointment to see an ENT specialist. The female specialist from Bangkok thought that he might have a hair lodged in his throat (what was she thinking...

Rider. I know where you're coming from. Howard is a very good golfing friend of mine and has had some serious troubles, he's over them now and I'm sure that you and I would wish him the best.
No offence.

Re: Cheap drinks in Cha-am

Been back today, I made a mistake...It's 2 glasses of wine, red/white for 130 baht! Leo is 60 baht for a big one. It gets better, the happy hour is until 6pm.

Cheap drinks in Cha-am

Walking down the beach road in Cha-am yesterday with a couple of friends who are here on holiday. Fancied a snack, and saw one of those signs that brings a smile to your face...Happy hour. 2 pm-5 pm. Very pleasant surroundings, nice food and beer starting at 50 baht for a large Archa, they also had ...

Re: SUGAR CANE

The doddering old farrang you refer to is Howard. He still lives in the Limelight.
He was bought out by a Canadian chap, who then sold it on to his friend, another Canadian.

When I used to come here for holidays, I always took back...Black peppercorns and cashew nuts. Un-beatable bargains at the fresh market.

Re: Cheese making

I had an old German neighbour in Cha-am. He used to make cheese regularly and it was fantastic. His wife used to get him fresh milk to make it.
It was a cross between crumbly lancashire and Feta.

So, it can be done!

Re: Re-freezing meat/poultry/fish

What I have seen on several occassions over the years, especially in the big stores. When re-stocking the chicken portions they appear to have been frozen and are thawing out. Surely one would think that they would notify the customer that this was originally frozen produce and shouldn't be re-frozen...

Re: Married and a bun in the oven

I've lived here for over 10 years and been happily married for just over 9. My wife is beautiful in every sense of the meaning. She doesn't drink, smoke, gamble or speak English! We live in a beautiful house, have cars and motorbykes (all in her name.) I rented for the first 6 years of marriage and ...

Re: Free to good home - 4 year old Pomeranian bitch

Hello sateeb.
I'm new here and don't think I can reply to you.
I have an 18 month old pomeranian dog and think it would be good company for him.
If you could get in touch, my wife and I would love to have the dog.
Cheers Chris..
