Re: Thai travelling to Thailand on UK passport

Just enter on the expired Thai passport. Do not tempt fate by showing the UK passport to the immigration officer. Then go get a new Thai passport, which is quick and easy. This assumes the Thai passport has a Thai departure stamp and arrival card.

Re: RE: Re: What's Happened To The Water in Hua Hin?

I've found that many places now large and small (even my little town) has a municipal FB page where they put up all the plan announcements about water and electric outages, road repairs etc. I would think the HH Gov has one too. All in Thai of course but a useful bookmark. Pete  huahin.go.t...

Re: Bitcoin mining and cryptocurrency thread

Wonder how long before the BTC block chain becomes untenable. But mining (ie processing transactions on the block chain) right now must be very profitable.

Re: Bitcoin mining and cryptocurrency thread

I left the BTC party in May and switched to Ethereum and some other small stuff. Not doing my wallet any good right now, but maybe good for my blood pressure. :). When the BTC correction or great cash-in happens I wonder where the money will move to (other than expensive watches and diamond rings).

Should be lots of space available in Hua Hin Hospital's car park if high BP and Diabetes disqualify people driving.

@caller - new Robinson / Tops in Phetchaburi - don't set your expectations too high. Thanks. I thought as much. I visit Bkk regularly and there is a TOPS near where I stay, but as I like to stock up on things not available for me in Hua Hin, I always pay a visit to the supermarket at Central Chit L...

Re: RE: Re: Drivers License Dec. 7 2016

Yes you do need an address certificate from immigration but I'm not sure about a med certificate for your first 5 year licence. I'd get one anyway, they only cost peanuts. You'll find your licence expires on your birthday so going after your birthday (1 day is enough), you will get 5 years from you...

Re: Taxi from bus station in the early hours?

How about asking the driver to stop at soi 156? Perhaps arrange for this when boarding in Krabi. Normally this can be done as long as they don't have baggage in the hold.

I bought a GPS battery from batterybay.net 2 years ago and it's still good. Also some camera batteries through AliExpress earlier this year. No problems with them either. I congratulate you on your good luck, as far as I'm concerned buying a replacement battery from anywhere other than the phone ma...

I assumed the number was in UK, but the OP now says he's in T[hailand. This makes it a True Move number.
