Is it safe to have a in ground cement pool installed after the house is made? Any risk to the house's foundation from digging the hole for the pool?

Plumber that knows Western standards

Hi guys, I am in the planning stage of building a house. I was wondering if anyone knows a local plumber who is familiar with Western standards so they actually install the correct traps and vents. Hate how many Thai built houses stink because they don't use the correct systems. I showed a plumber t...

Tires for Honda PCX

I have read on another forum about the poor wet performance of OEM tires on the 125 cc PCX and though I have driven the bike very little I agree. Can anyone direct me to a shop that can I purchase replacements (Prefer Dunlops) and have them installed?

Re: Hua Hin/Thailand: why are you there?

I am on my 11th year in Thailand, my story is similar to others I came here for a holiday met an amazing woman and married her 1 year later. Coming from "Old Iceberg" (Canada) I put up with high taxes, high prices and low temperatures none of which I liked. Thailand seemed ideal with frie...

Re: Best pizza in Hua Hin?

I tried the pizza place on the second floor Market Village, it was good. My kids like Pizza Company, I don't like the pizza there but the spinach lasagna is good. Wife looks for Thai food LOL

Hello All

My family and I are new to the HH area. We are a family of 6 (yes big) moving from eastern Thailand. I am a long term resident of over 10 years working in the oil & gas industry. HH seemed the logical move for us as I wanted a clean (for Thai standards) environment to raise our family with activ...
