I was trying to install a access point and configure it as a repeater-extender but I need to set up a stactic IP addres, share out a few external drives and printer and thats all out of my tech skill range.

The house is not that big but it's a bit long and the walls are thick so the 150 Mbps 2.4 ghz router with an extra long antenna still cannot reach my office area.
